Dichtomatik thread seals are used to seal the leak paths on threaded fasteners. Thread seals are designed with three wedges around the I.D. of the seal. Upon being installed one of the three wedges will be positioned within the spiral groove created by the threads of the fastener, thus sealing the potential leak path.
Dichtomatik’s standard thread seals are 70-durometer NBR with zinc plated low carbon steel. Different material combinations are available upon request. For more information contact Dichtomatik customer service.
