Fastener seals are used to seal the leak path on the shoulder of fasteners. Dichtomatik fastener seals are designed so that after the fastener has been tightened the pre-determined interference between the fastener and the seal will cause the rubber to seal the clearance gap between the fastener and the mating components.
Dichtomatik’s standard fastener seals are 70-durometer NBR with zinc plated low carbon steel. Different material combinations are available upon request. For more information contact Dichtomatik customer service.
